Site Selection mnsg_site_selection_criteria_explanation_v1.0_12-feb-13.pdf The
Site Selection criteria needs to be very carefully constructed as it is very
easy to affect the results by amending the values. I can see that a lot of
effort has been put into this but I would ask whether this particular criteria
has been independantly and expertly reviewed to ensure that it is fair and
robust? As an example:- 11. Impact on historic views 13. Impact on landscape
settings, views and natural features These are considered separately wheras the
Wiltshire core strategy feb 2012 core policy 51 appears to consider these
together so I do not see why they are split and this can easily sway the
results. I also do not quite understand why it has been deemed necessary to
copyright the selection process. Are there no other selection criteria publicy
available which could be used without going to the great effort of reinventing
our own? I look forward to hearing your responses - thanks.

Criterion Weighting are set at 2, 5, 10 and 20 and Criterion Values 1, 2, 5 and
10 but "11. Impact on Historic Views" has CV values of 1, 4, 7 and 10. Have I
missed something or is this a mistake and if so are the results correct? I look
forward to hearing from you - thanks.
