Objectives - rewrite as follows: Para 1.A.9.2 Propose
locations for 270 homes and retail provision accepted but add an Objective
2. 2.To preserve, protect and
enhance open areas, the river corridors, the rural areas to embrace the
landscape setting especially that within the Conservation Area. 3.To comply
with NPPF which requires open space lost to development to be replaced by
equivalent or better provision.
4.To ensure that existing tree cover in the area is preserved and
enhanced. 5.To identify how this
can be acheived through legal planning rules recognising that much of this land
is at present used for agricultural purposes. Para 5.3.4. To ensure that the
protection from development of the Worthis does not rely on a provate
restrictive covenant. 6. To make
use of Village Green protection where appropriate and County Nature
Reserves. 7.To ensure that land
not identified for development is not developed on a permanent basis. Para
8.1.8 Design Standards 8. To define the maximum density of dwelling taking into
account the requirements of a proportion of social housing and owner occupied
houses. 8.1.6. Private outdoor amenity space should be adequate to make room
for bins and bike/pram sheds.
