Housing dvelopment should be in theme with the town and not high rise/ density, with places to park and
walk, close as possible to the centre of the town and therefore I agree with
the suggested locations. Type of housing is important catering for elderly and
young and families as demand requires. Supermarlets are convenient and having a
closer big store would be great, however I don;t live in Malmesbury because I
want convenient stores or a large range of large shops, if I did want this I
would move to Swindon or Bristol. Iam unsure of the need of a supermarket, but
agree with the principle of any development not killing the High St. It's
important any store is not unsightly and benefits the whole town for parking,
additional facilities. Having an out of town store I feel would be disastrous
for the town.
