5al – P2 As a resident at Inglenook on the junction of the Cirencester/Tetbury roads opposite Nurden's Garden Centre. My family require that the MNSG take particular note of comments submitted on our behalf by Walker Morris' senior planner and highways consultant John Vernon of Northern Transport Planning. The roundabout proposed by Sainsbury's is not to standard and will have a severe adverse affect on our safe ingress and egress from our property. We have submitted a comprehensive appraisal of the access arrangements proposed by Sainsbury's and this clearly shows that there are several highway safety issues involved. We do ask that in the next writing of the dNP includes ”the access proposed for this site must not cause harm to neighbouring property”
We are concerned about the amount of traffic that will be coming out of the Burton Hill House site as the large buses use it every 30mins as well as tractors, horse boxes, etc. Regarding the plans for the supermarket by the Silk Mills, we feel the site isn't as suitable as the other proposed site at the Garden Centre site. Regarding the plans for the houses, site 3a we have to accept, regarding site 15 we think it is good for the Tennis Club - ??????????
I support the Neighbourhood Plan and wish to see site 10 behind the PCC removed as would constitute over-development of a rural area backing onto houses.
I wholly endorse the Neighbourhood Plan and feel it will protect our environment when in place. I have concerns over the northwest of Malmesbury in particular site 10 and should like this removed as feel the development is large enough with 5, 6 and 11
Burton Hill Road/ Arches Lane is a nightmare for the elderly to cross, someone will get killed before long. As for the development in Arches Lane the road needs improving now. You meet the bus and there's no room to pass, one of you has to go back. Cannot wait for Waitrose to come to Malmesbury.
Please bring Waitrose to the Avon Mills site soon. Land to the side of Townsend Court, I don't want windows looking into my
I find the scoring for pedestrian, public transport and cycling very biased towards the Waitrose application. Three bus services
Plans are very well thought through. Approval so far from us all. Hoping the houses will be in keeping with Malmesbury and well built to last for years.
