This plan is a disaster for Malmesbury. There is no attenpt to have an equitable distribution of the mandatory housing. The scoring system is subjective and has been implemented in such a way so as to satisfy personal agendas. There is no attempt to consolidate the High Street. The proposal to extend secondary frontage is only there to enable those supporting
Waitrose/ Simons to meet <300m criterion. Why has English Heritage, WCC Officers and Malmesbury Town Council opinion on the Avon Mills site been ignored?
