I am generally in favour of the Draft Plan. I have some comments:

I am pleased that MNSG is in favour of the development behind Avon Mills.
Section 3 Prosperous Town Centre
We all wish to see a prosperous town centre
with varied businesses. Some shops have been-and-gone in a relatively
short time span so it seems rather a forlorn hope to think of expanding outside
the High Street. We need a prosperous and vibrant high street before 'we'
consider further expansion. Oxford Street is becoming more 'derelict' as
Section 4 Diversified local economy
Seems a bit late to talk of catering for Dyson's possible expansion.
As I understand it, he was refused planning
permission on land for expansion some years ago; which is why he moved some

Have Wessex Water confirmed that the Waste
Treatment Works and Sewage Network is more-than-adequate for the expansion of
the town? Including the ability of the R. Avon to take the increased

don't know what you consider 'small-scale'? If there is to be
industrial/commercial expansion then these businesses should be encouraged to
have solar panels. If such expansion were to be in the area around Dyson
