Section 1. Housing. At this point of the draft
Neighbourhood Plan I am in agreement with the proposed number of dwellings
which I believe are to be about 330 and the sites earmarked for them are
suitable sites. However I would very strongly oppose further development as I
really do feel that the town cannot cope with the extra load put upon it's
infrastructure. Section3. Shopping. Malmesbury definately needs a new
supermarket. One which will have very little or better still no bad impact on
the high Street trade. Having looked at the 2 sites/ Plans already put forward
I would prefer the proposed Plans/ site behind the Silk Mills. Section 4.
Whilts I believe we need more light industrial units and a technology park I
would hope that these would not be too large or built too high as this I
believe would spoil the heritage look when approaching the town and have a
negative impact on visitors coming to
