Section 1. Housing. I live in the Parish of St. paul Without at Burton Hill and note that this area has
the proposal for 110 houses. Within the same parish there are the villages of
Milbourne , Foxley and Brokenborough all served by Malmesbury. Is it not
reasonable for these Parishes to take their share of Malmesbury's growth and
allow each village to expand by approx 10 houses? and this reduce the impact on
Burton Hill? The Neighbourhood Plan should be just that & include the whole
neighbourhood. Section 3. - Shopping. The Avon Mills is not a suitable site for
a supermarlet - Remember the recent flooding??? - did no one on the comittee
witness the water pouring off this field? Water retaining tanks are not a
feasible answer to prevent this because water cannot be released further
downstream when water levels remain high.
